Lead Teacher/5 Year Old Kindergarten
5-Year-Old Kindergarten/Lead Teacher
Jodie has been teaching at the four and five-year-old kindergarten class level for 20 years. She graduated in 1999 from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Early Childhood. Ms. Cordts creates a patient and caring classroom where all children can achieve success.
Annamarie is a 2020 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Platteville with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Early Childhood. Annamarie is so blessed to be working with the students and staff at SS. Andrew-Thomas School. Ms. Bousley hopes to foster a love of learning that carries through all years of learning.
4th - 8th Grade
Beth is our 4th grade homeroom teacher and teaches 4-8 science, math, and cultural geography. Beth returned to SS. Andrew-Thomas School in 2020 after a 4-year sabbatical. She previously taught for 24 years in a variety of grade levels and subjects. She graduated in 1992 from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Science. Mrs. Flesch helps her students develop good work and study habits in preparation for high school and beyond.
2nd - 3rd Grade
Sandy came to SS. Andrew-Thomas School in 2016 and is our second and third grade teacher. She graduated from Concordia University with a degree in Elementary Education and a Master of Education in Professional Development from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. Sandy has over 40 years of teaching experience. Mrs. Herges instills a love of learning in the students she interacts with.
6th - 8th Grade Homeroom
Kathryn is our 6th, 7th, and 8th grade homeroom teacher and has been at SS. Andrew-Thomas School since 2018. Mrs. Mumm teaches 4-8 language arts, social studies, and religion. Kitty has a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education with a minor in English. Kitty also has an advanced certificate in Religious Studies through the Diocese of Madison. Kitty has over 30 years of teaching experience. Mrs. Mumm shares her enthusiasm of learning with her students.
PE & Health
Abby is a graduate of Saint Clement School and has taught as a special education teacher in area schools for seven years. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from UW-Whitewater in 2010. She has many years of experience working in the Lancaster Summer Rec Program, coaching and refereeing. Abby spends Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays at Saint Clement’s and Wednesdays and Fridays at Ss. Andrew-Thomas. Miss Fotzler enjoys sharing her enthusiasm for fitness and health with her students.
Martha is from the Waukesha area and attended Carroll College with a degree in Music Education. She has over 30 years of music experience. Martha spends her weeks teaching music classes at St. Rose in Cuba City, Holy Ghost Immaculate Conception at the Dickeyville and Kieler campuses and here in Potosi. Mrs. Schaefer enjoys sharing her musical talents with her students.
A Potosi native and alumni of SS. Andrew-Thomas School, Ruth joined our staff in 2020. After working 30 years for Dupaco, she retired from the banking world. She is very familiar with the church and local community. Ruth is resourceful and welcoming in our school office.
MARY ANN FLESCH
Food Service Manager
Mary Ann is a Potosi native and graduate of SS. Andrew-Thomas School. She joined our staff in 2015 after working in a local nursing home. Mary Ann spends lots of time in the flower beds at the churches and all around town.
Rob is a Cassville native and joined SS. Andrew-Thomas School staff in May of 2019. He is a partner with Millbranch Tree Service. In his spare time, Rob enjoys deer hunting and fishing.
